Catch one of the trains going through Turnberry-Morris

March 2013 – On the site – http://www.digital.library.mcgill.ca/countyatlas/primarysource.htm – is an excellent digitized copy of the Huron County Belden Atlas of 1879. The maps of Turnberry and Morris Townships feature the names of most landowners in the rural areas, written upon the lots they owned. This is a gem of a website when researching the area’s history.

June 2012- This site is presently under construction – keep checking back to see it grow bit by bit. On the way, is a site chock full of historical research and articles about the townships of Morris and Turnberry. It will feature bios of war veterans, history of churches, the businesses and buildings, land records, local history headliners, writers and artists, places to walk and visit local area sites, family histories, old photos, settler diaries, war letters, references, websites and much, much more.
